ABOUT THE ARTIST

Devon Damonte is a direct animation artist who also works in printmaking, rubbings, paper craft, photography, and drawing. His animation works have screened at venues including PS1 Contemporary Arts Center in New York, the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Lisbon, Portugal; Views From the Avant Garde at New York Film Festival, and REDCAT at Disney Hall in Los Angeles. He teaches experimental animation at Evergreen State College and has taught workshops, lectured and screened his work at venues including Harvard University, Ottawa International Animation Festival, and the Rhode Island School of Design.
